New Discovery gears for debut


Land Rover’s new Discovery will make its world debut on September 28 ahead of the Paris Motor Show in France.

The new Discovery embodies Land Rover’s drive to go “above and beyond”, combining British desirability with an unstoppable spirit of adventure, according to the brand. 

The full-sized seven-seat SUV was “created with absolute versatility, capability and technology like no other”.

Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s Chief Design Officer said: “New Discovery redefines the large SUV. Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have revolutionised the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV.”

Land Rover continues to build the world's most capable all-purpose vehicles - a blend of refinement, performance and unmatched all-terrain capability making Land Rover vehicles distinctive and unique.

The current Land Rover line-up comprises the flagship Range Rover, its more luxurious derivative the new flagship Range Rover SVAutobiography, the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible gaining ground as the world’s first luxury compact SUV convertible, the Land Rover Discovery/LR4, the Discovery Sport, the Range Rover Sport, and the Range Rover Sport SVR, the fastest, most powerful and most dynamically focused Land Rover ever produced. 

The Paris Motor Show will run from October 1 to 16.
