Following events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE last year, Chopard took its themed party that celebrates the spirit of its Happy Diamonds collection to Kuwait.
The event was held by Chopard together with its partner Trafalgar at the Contemporary Art Platform (CAP) gallery in Kuwait City last week.
CAP is one of the biggest non-profit art centres in the Middle East region for modern and contemporary art offering a universe completely immersed with modern art and design.
The party for Chopard’s guests and members of the press featured one-of-a-kind animations, games, props, and photo sessions.
Guests delighted in cocktail bites and “happy” refreshments and danced to a happy music vibe set by a female DJ, embodying the very feeling of freedom that surrounds the carefree spirit of this iconic collection.
Ever since its creation, Chopard Happy Diamonds Collection has distinguished itself by the joyful swirl of precious dancing diamonds. Delicate and timeless, yet daring and modern, the collection portrays independent personalities: seizing the moment and living their lives to the fullest, today’s young women are blessed with a contagious cheerfulness that makes them radiant.
The latest Happy Diamonds collection was inspired by nature and represents pop art inspired flowers with a modern twist. The floral Happy Diamonds Collection comprises a pendant, ring and earrings in 18-karat white or rose gold.
Also, Chopard’s most iconic collection has similarly nurtured in the past a passion for hearts. Its Happy Hearts Collection likewise acquired a new look when Chopard revisited this love collection by combining its lucky charm, the heart, with precious colours. Henceforth, the traditionally openwork hearts have now become “solid” turquoise, onyx or mother-of-pearl hearts placed along slim White or Rose gold chains.
The playful spirit of the collection is also found in the Happy Diamonds signature design watches where mobile and free of all settings, diamonds dance joyfully between two sapphire crystals.
Chopard’s roots go back to the 19th century, when Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded his own workshop in 1860 in Sonvilier, the Swiss Jura.
Since 1963 Chopard has been owned by the Scheufele family and its headquarters are located in Geneva. Internationally renowned for its watches and jewellery creations, the house employs today 2,000 people worldwide.
Chopard has built its reputation on iconic collections such as the Happy Diamonds, Happy Sport and Mille Miglia collections. The firm is also recognised for its fine watchmaking and manufacture expertise expressed in the LUC collection.
Trafalgar is an internationally recognized luxury retailer with 24 specialised boutiques in Kuwait and over 43 years of operating expertise.
