Luxury Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has revealed its Suite 1755, the first bespoke lounge globally, in Dubai, steering into a new era.
Embracing the pioneering spirit of the region, Suite 1755 redefines the codes of client experience while reconnecting with the roots of the Maison -- a voyage between heritage, culture, art and watchmaking excellence, says the watchmaker.
In partnership with award-winning Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, Suite 1755 is located on the luxurious resort's second floor with a breathtaking seafront setting overlooking the clear blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. Shared values of distinctive design and hospitality excellence brought together the two leaders of their industries to create a highly bespoke experience.
Regional Director of Vacheron Constantin Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa, Christophe Ramel, comments: "We feel proud to launch in the Middle East this one of a kind salon for our connoisseurs to take a venture into our Maison in a re-defined, modern twist of our identity and heritage. In line with Vacheron Constantin motto 'Do better if possible and it is always possible’, we wanted to create a unique personal space where collectors can connect and share their passion, journey through visual archives, learn further about watchmaking, and indulge in ultimate luxury."
Suite 1755 offers a modern interpretation of the Maison’s universe with an educational approach. Jean-Marc Vacheron expressed his desire to pass down savoir-faire when he signed his first apprentice in 1755. This contract is being recognised today as the date of creation of Vacheron Constantin, making it the eldest watch manufacturer in continuous operation.
Suite 1755 embodies the tradition of creating bespoke and long-lasting relationships which started with Francois Constantin who used to travel the world to bond with the Maison’s clients, says the company.
The light and airy space bring together all the values of the Maison to create an unparalleled experience and service, endeavoring to support the rich artistic design of Dubai.
Upon entering, connoisseurs are greeted by a space filled with natural light and a stunning display of art pieces, including a unique custom-made Vacheron Constantin Moucharabieh inspired by geometrical designs and curated furniture pieces by acclaimed Emirati designer Aljoud Lootah.
The Moucharabieh with Maltese cross motif creates a focal point as a reference to Vacheron Constantin emblem and a tribute to Middle Eastern Art in its traditional form, it says.
The lounge has been designed in mind to provide collectors with tailored experiences and dedicated watchmaking masterclasses, as well as Ramadan celebrations and other cultural activities set to be announced. The spirit of Suite 1755 is to create a unique and private space where collectors connect together and with the Maison.
Suite 1755 will also be a place of Heritage and History, where will be displayed the Maison’s treasures coming for the first time to the Middle East.
Suite 1755 started welcoming guests and will continue until June 15. The lounge is open every day from 10 am to 10 pm on invitation and reservation only (call 800 1755).
