Following the success of the 131 Yacht launch at last month’s London Boat Show, Sunseeker International will launch two further large yachts - the 116 Yacht and 95 yacht - this spring.
Both models have already generated £65 million ($93 million) of sales since being unveiled in 2015.
Currently being completed at Sunseeker’s facilities in Dorset, UK, these two stunning next generation superyachts epitomise the elegant lines, open plan layouts and stylish interiors that Sunseeker has introduced with its new crop of larger models. Both the 116 Yacht and 95 Yacht are based on the classic Sunseeker deep V hull, ensuring they maintain exhilarating performance at their core, equally at home cruising in comfort or running at full throttle to make the heart race.
116 YACHT
The 116 Yacht’s rakish looks and unique design layout make this the ultimate boat for entertaining in style. Its foredeck has been developed into a whole entertainment area of its own, with a new ‘Club’ concept and the option of a large hot tub. Its flybridge boasts a huge retractable sunroof and an exceptionally generous seating and dining area, with an expansive wet bar, sun-loungers, companion helm seating, and optional hot tub. An electronically operated carbon fibre gull-wing door also provides easy access for crew from the wheelhouse to the exterior side deck.
Inside, the 116 Yacht’s most eye-catching new design features include floor-to-ceiling glazing in the full-beam master stateroom, creating bigger, brighter owner’s accommodation affording maximum privacy. Full-height glass in the saloon also combines with sleek cut away deck bulwarks to flood the living accommodation with natural daylight, bringing an astonishing sense of size and space to the interior of an already spacious yacht.
95 YACHT
With spacious elegance, the 95 Yacht combines a superyacht feel with all the practical advantages of a yacht in this size category.
Its standout feature is its unique main deck layout with a special master cabin triplex configuration for even greater flexibility and freedom on board. With the luxurious master stateroom berth on the main deck, a forward staircase leads to a mid-level dressing area and sumptuous en-suite.
The raised pilot house is another eye-catching new feature of this model, again offering greater flexibility and contributing to the more expansive main deck layout which is truly remarkable for this size of yacht. Above deck the spacious flybridge is well equipped with bar, optional hot tub and plenty of seating for guests to be entertained in style.
Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International, says: "Sunseeker prides itself on producing the world’s finest luxury performance motor yachts, and the new generation of superyachts we are launching this year achieves that goal in stunning fashion. Each new model is quintessentially and unmistakeably a Sunseeker, and we will be very proud to see the 116 Yacht and 95 Yacht both take to the water in the coming months.
With the substantial sales these two have already achieved, we are reaping the benefits of investing to bring these exceptional new models to market, providing our customers with the best possible choice within their chosen size range.”
Sunseeker is the world’s leading brand for luxury performance motor yachts.
Originally named Poole Power Boats, the company was founded by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite in 1969. The company changed its name to Sunseeker International in 1985 and has since become a global icon, with every Sunseeker the result of an uncompromising and unmatched approach to design, craftsmanship and performance.
In August 2013 a majority stake in the business was acquired by Wanda Group, the Beijing headquartered conglomerate with strong footprints across China, Europe and the US.
From its manufacturing base in Dorset on the south coast of England, Sunseeker produces around 150 boats every year ranging from 50-155 feet. Demand for the company’s larger models continues to grow year-on-year with more than 100 yachts over 100 feet in length already delivered. Buyers have benefitted from the company’s ‘Bespoke’ customisation service which allow individual customers to personalise their yacht. Working very closely with highly professional dealer representation in over 60 countries, service and product support is a key priority in maintaining customer satisfaction.
The Sunseeker range constantly sets new standards and benchmarks. From the dynamic San Remo and Sport Yacht models, through its luxurious Manhattan range, iconic Predator models, and its majestic Yachts range, each Sunseeker is the result of an uncompromising approach to innovative design and engineering excellence
The current 18 boat range consists of: Yacht (155, 131, 116, 95, 28M, 86, 75), Sport Yacht (130, 101, 80, 68), Predator (84, 80, 68, 57), Manhattan (65, 55) and San Remo (52).
