Chopard is showing off some exceptional jewellery and timepieces at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), which is currently under way in Doha, Qatar.
Chopard is at the event along with long-time partner Al Fardan Jewellery, Qatar’s leading luxury watch and jewelry retailer.
On show is an array of exquisite jewellery, high jewellery and timepieces for ladies and gents in a stand-alone booth, bearing the brand’s boutique design developed by French architect Thierry Despont.
These include its Happy Diamonds, Happy Sport, Imperiale, Mille Miglia collections as well as the LUC collection that expresses the watchmaking expertise of the Geneva-based company.
Buyers and collectors will also be able to discover stunning high jewellery creations from the Red Carpet, Temptations and L’Heure du Diamant collections.
Now in its 13th year, the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition can be cited among the leading jewelry and watches fairs in the world and has become a well-established notable event on the luxury calendar of the Middle East region.
This year, an unprecedented 30,000 visitors are expected, and for the first time since its inception, the exhibition will feature jewelry and watches workshops and educational seminars. Open to the public, the exhibition welcomes individuals, collectors, connoisseurs as well as jewellery experts.
Chopard traces its roots back to 1860, when Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded his own workshop in Sonvilier, the Swiss Jura.
Since 1963 Chopard is owned by the Scheufele family and its headquarters are located in Geneva. Internationally renowned for its watches and jewellery creations, the house is independent, vertically integrated and involved in the entire process from design to distribution through more than 1,600 points of sale and 162 boutiques. Over 30 different crafts are practiced in three manufacturing sites with a strong emphasis on in-house training.
The DWJE is being held at the new Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in West Bay. The event runs until February 27 from noon to 10 pm.
