TAG Aviation has added a second Gulfstream G200 to its charter fleet, offering charter clients more flexibility and cost-effective travel.
The nine-passenger Gulfstream G200 was the world’s first super midsize jet and is ideally suited to both domestic and international travel. Capable of travelling 3,400 nautical miles non-stop, cruising at 530 mph, the G200 is one of the fastest and most efficient business jets in its class. With an oval cabin cross-section almost the same as a large cabin long-range aircraft, it is one of the most spacious cabins in its category and also boasts one of the largest baggage capacities.
“We are delighted to have this Geneva-based second Gulfstream G200 join our charter fleet. The aircraft is immediately available and can be fully dedicated to charter without the need for the owner’s prior release,” says Andrew Hodgson, Director of Charter Europe, TAG Aviation. “In line with TAG’s overall charter strategy we are currently looking to expand our managed charter fleet of aircraft and create more strategic partnerships in order to offer a wider choice of aircraft type which meet the needs of our clients for both business and leisure trips.”
TAG Aviation operates Europe’s biggest charter fleet and can meet the charter requirements of an extensive direct client base either via its own growing fleet or through its charter brokerage activity.
“In addition to our fleet, TAG has developed partnerships with selected operators in order to guarantee an extended global network of well maintained, high quality aircraft,” says Joao Pacheco, Charter Services Manager, TAG Aviation, Europe. This enables clients to not only benefit from the size of TAG’s charter fleet but it also makes the service very competitive. Through these agreements, TAG Aviation can offer around 150 additional TAG approved aircraft in every category - from turbo prop to airliner - to charter clients.
TAG Aviation includes TAG Aviation Europe, TAG Aviation Asia in Hong Kong and TAG Aviation Middle East in Bahrain. The company offers a broad range of business aviation services including aircraft management, charter, maintenance and FBO/handling. Globally, TAG Aviation manages a fleet of over 120 aircraft with around 50 available for charter. The company also provides comprehensive maintenance and engineering services in nine locations (Geneva, Sion, Farnborough, Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, Madrid, Lisbon, Hong Kong and Lomé). The company is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and comprises of operating centres in Geneva, Farnborough (London), Madrid and Hong Kong. TAG Aviation’s FBO facilities in Geneva and TAG Farnborough Airport, a sister company, have repeatedly been rated among the top three FBOs worldwide.
