Azimut Yachts has opened a new representative office in Dubai, UAE, as part of a drive to expand its presence in the region.
Revealing the news ahead of the Dubai International Boat Show which gets under way tomorrow, Azimut Yachts also said it has also transferred a specialist engineer from its headquarters in Italy as its new Gulf Service Manager.
The manager will work with the Kuwait-headquartered Sea and Deserts Group, Azimut Yacht’s dealer for Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the UAE.
The new Dubai office, opened in partnership with Sea and Deserts, is located at prestigious Dubai Marina Yacht Club and joins Azimut’s offices in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
The Gulf Service Manager postion was created to guarantee assistance at the highest possible level for the brand’s growing client base, and he will co-ordinate all technical assistance and after-sales activities in the Gulf.
Azimut Yachts is attending this year’s Dubai boat show riding high on the success of rising sales for the last five years running.
Its strategy of introducing a constant stream of new models has proved a winning one, with the Azimut 72 and Magellano 66 selling out in a matter of months after they were unveiled.
Seas & Deserts Managing Director Ahmad Al-Ameeri comments: “Over the last year we have achieved excellent results with Azimut Yachts, delivering a considerable number of yachts in the region in the 34 to 120-foot range. In order to make life easier for our clients in this area, we’re pleased to announce the opening of our new Dubai Marina Yacht Club office. We have also set ourselves the goal of opening a new office in the Pearl Marina in Doha, plans for which are currently being drawn up.
“We strongly believe that our commitment to provide service at the highest possible level, combined with the design and unique performance of Azimut products, not to mention the valuable opportunity offered by the favourable exchange rate with the euro, will help us maintain our position of leadership in the Gulf area.”
Azimut Yachts Middle-East Area Manager Enrico Chiaussa says that the brand’s partnership with Seas & Deserts is a “very strong one” pointing out that the dealer was recently named as Azimut’s ‘Grande Collection Dealer of the Year 2015’.
Chiaussa says that yachts over 80 feet in length are proving to be the most successful market segment and this is why at the recent Kuwait Boat Show Azimut showed off not one but two Azimut Grande 95RPH yachts, each with a different layout.
“In fact, the reason we decided to permanently transfer a service manager from Italy is to offer ever better client service by helping dealers and owners with their specific technical needs,” he added.
Azimut draws on the services of five companies to represent the brand in the Middle-East, Azimut Yachts UAE/Qatar/Kuwait/Bahrain, Azimut Yachts Lebanon, Azimut Yachts Saudi Arabia, Azimut Yachts Egypt, Azimut Yachts Jordan.
At the Dubai show, Azimut Yachts will be displaying its Azimut Atlantis 50, Azimut 50, Azimut Magellano 53, Azimut 77S, Azimut 80, and Azimut 100 Leonardo
Azimut Yachts is an Azimut|Benetti Group brand. With its Atlantis, Magellano Flybridge, S and Grande collections, it offers the widest range of 34 to 120 foot yachts.
