Spring/Summer 2022
A world-class marina has opened in the heart of Abu Dhabi, offering a unique riviera-style experience for yachting enthusiasts.
The vibrant and luxurious marina at Al Qana, Abu Dhabi’s ultimate waterfront dining and entertainment destination, features mouth-watering seafood restaurants and cafes, lavish lounges, marine services, and a yacht marina with 106 berths.
Located in the Rabdan area next to Khor Al Maqta’a, Al Qana Marina enhances the experience of yacht owners, water sports enthusiasts, and foodies who visit the new heartbeat of Abu Dhabi.
As a member of the Marina Industries Association (MIA), Al Qana Marina accommodates vessels up to 80 ft in length and provides a range of vessel service options for yacht owners.
Fouad Mashal, CEO of Al Barakah International Investment, developer of Al Qana, tells Arabian Knight: “We are receiving an exciting number of inquiries from boat owners who wish to become part of our community thanks to the unique offerings of Al Qana.
“The marina provides the utmost professional services, including vessel preparation, cleaning, monitoring, berthing assistance, and the most luxurious concierge service, such as buggy/trolley service, ice supply, car parking, and local cruising knowledge, in addition to the electric/water supply, pump-out system, emergency response equipment, WC and shower facilities, and others,” he says.
Al Qana Marina members receive a membership card with exclusive benefits and rewards, including discounts and complimentary access to Al Qana attractions.
Boat owners can even visit Al Qana Marina through a day pass or annual membership. Along with its prime location, the marina offers its annual members an extensive range of benefits.
“Members and visitors of Al Qana Marina have access to The National Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the Middle East; Pixoul Gaming, an e-Sports Gaming Hub; and Adrenark Adventure, an adrenaline zone for kids,” says Mashal.
Al Qana Marina also offers visitors a range of fun and unique activities, including a Grand Canal Cruise, an iconic heritage tour in Abu Dhabi’s historic abras that takes visitors on a journey through Al Qana’s waterways while admiring the spectacular scenery. Soon, Al Qana Marina will also offer water sports and fun day activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding.
“Al Qana hosts one of Abu Dhabi’s largest varieties of gastronomical delights with a vibrant waterfront dining experience, it’s the main attraction for yacht-owners from the Gulf region,” Mashal continues.
“Also, we’re neighbouring five hotels and resorts, making it a prime location in addition to the stunning and uninterrupted views of Abu Dhabi’s skyline and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.”
Listing the unique facilities and advantages of the marina, Mashal says Al Qana Marina is the perfect spot for yacht owners, water-sports enthusiasts, and families to eat, drink and soak up the sun.
“Unlike other marinas, Al Qana Marina is situated in a luxurious destination that features fine-casual dining restaurants, lavish lounges, cafes, and unique entertainment facilities in Abu Dhabi,” he says.
Al Qana Marina is easily accessible from Abu Dhabi Island and the surrounding areas and cities.
