Chopard hosted an exclusive private dinner at a surprise pop-up venue in the UAE’s Abu Dhabi for selected VIPs where it showcased its range of jewellery and watches.
The event was organised by The Dinner Club by No. 57 on behalf of the Swiss brand and its local partner Al Manara International Jewellery at a “new, exceptional location”.
Launched in 2012, the club gathers every month a limited number of VIPs in elegant yet eccentric locations, around succulent dinners.
The attendance to these private dinners is upon invitation only and total secrecy sets the overall tone of these gatherings. The location, theme, guests and menu all remain a surprise until few days before the event, making it even more exciting to the guests, turning a traditional dinner party into an exciting and new experience.
Along with Al Manara International Jewellery, Chopard welcomed its guests in an abandoned location in Abu Dhabi, equivalent to a secret courtyard, fully transformed for the occasion by Dinner Club by No. 57, who turned it into an intimate setup, dipped in a magical candlelight ambiance.
Guests were also able to view a selection of the brand’s exquisite jewellery and timepieces for ladies and gents, including the latest Happy Hearts bangles part of the iconic Happy Diamonds Collection, an Imperiale timepiece from the latest Imperiale Empress jewellery box, a sporty yet elegant Mille Miglia watch and an LUC timepiece demonstrating the watchmaking excellence of the Geneva-based company.
Chopard traces its roots abck to 1860, when Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded his own workshop in Sonvilier, the Swiss Jura. Since 1963 Chopard is owned by the Scheufele family and its headquarters are located in Geneva. Internationally renowned for its watches and jewellery creations, the house employs today 2,000 people worldwide. The company is independent, vertically integrated and involved in the entire process from the designs to the distribution through more than 1,600 points of sale and 162 boutiques. Over 30 different crafts are practiced in three manufacturing sites with a strong emphasis on in-house training. Chopard has built its reputation on iconic collections such as the Happy Diamonds, Happy Sport and Mille Miglia collections. The firm is also highly recognized for its fine watchmaking and manufacture expertise expressed in the LUC collection.
Originally founded in 1973, Al Manara International Jewellery has built a reputation as the leading luxury timepiece and jewellery retailer in Abu Dhabi.
