Wealthy Arab tourists looking for a lightweight supercar to drive around while in London should check out the new Mexican-made VUHL 05 which has gone on sale in the UK.
The Mexican manufacturer is showcasing the production specification lightweight supercar at the new London Motor Show in Battersea Par, which opens today.
Back in the UK for a series of promotional events and appearances this summer, the London Motor Show will be VUHL’s first visit to the capital as officially on sale, and provides the perfect platform for enthusiasts and potential customers to get up close to one of 2016’s most thrilling new cars.
VUHL cars will be sold directly through official UK dealer, Bespoke Performance who will be representing VUHL and welcoming visitors across four days at the London Motor Show from May 5 to 8.
Iker Echeverria, VUHL Technical Director, said: “After thrilling UK crowds for the first time with our 05 prototype at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, we are proud to announce that our full production specification car for the UK is now on sale. This is a momentous occasion for the company as the UK represents a key market for us from both a sales and engineering perspective, with almost half of the components sourced here. We hope many visitors will come to our stand and get a close-up look at our first UK car.”
The VUHL 05 is a two-seater supercar designed for both road and track use. It combines advanced design with lightweight construction and superb build quality to deliver one of the most exhilarating driving experiences on the road.
A power-to-weight ratio of 410bhp/tonne means the 05 accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds to a top speed of 150 mph.
UK prices for the VUHL 05 start at £59,995 ($87,000).
