French luxury watch brand Bell & Ross has opened a new boutique in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi in association with local dealer Al Sayegh Jewellery.
The Al Sayegh Bell and Ross boutique is located at the Nation Towers – a two-tower complex which includes the St Regis, Abu Dhabi – and features the brand’s latest offerings.
New models on display include the sand-coloured Desert Type, especially designed for air pilots on desert missions needing a tool to measure short time intervals, the BR-X1 Hyperstellar, and two limited edition BR 03 Aero GT models.
Launched at Baselworld earlier this year, the Aero GT models are inspired by Bell & Ross’s Aero GT, a sleek, aggressive concept car also unveiled at the watch and jewellery show and described as “an amalgamation of an aircraft and a GT”.
Al Sayegh Group Chairman Abdullah Ali Al Sayegh said: “Considering Abu Dhabi’s Formula One race is fast approaching, we are excited for the BR-X1 released in partnership with the Renault Sport Formula One Team, which will appeal to sports fans. Both Bell & Ross and the Renault team have the common goal of pushing the limits of mechanics which is well represented in these limited edition timepieces.”
Bell & Ross watches incorporate advanced Swiss technology with instrumental panels as their source of inspiration. Also known for their water resistance, its famous BR 01 model can withstand water pressures up to a depth of 1,000 m.
Although the luxury brand specialises in watches that serve divers, pilots and sailors, it has become a symbol of class and holds a significant position in the market today.
