Omega has revealed its exclusive residence and members-only club for the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Swiss watchmaker is the official timekeeper of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games,
The Omega House concept was launched four years ago at the London Games and, following its huge success, has been reimagined for the Games in Brazil.
This year, Omega House will be situated inside Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim on Ipanema Beach.
During the prestigious sporting event, the location will be transformed into a modern, light-filled space where invited guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the Olympic Games in truly unique style.
With views out across the sand and palm trees, the interior of the house will be created around the pillars of the Omega brand. This means that guests will be able to step foot into themed rooms dedicated to sports timekeeping, space exploration, ocean heritage, ladies’ timepieces and watchmaking innovation.
Omega House will be open every day of the Olympic Games between 11 am and 1 am from August 1 to 21, 2016.
It will operate as an invitation-only, private residence for selected members, invited guests, VIPs and athletes alike. A number of Omega brand ambassadors will also be in attendance, including some of those who will be competing in their sports.
Held from August 5 to 21, Rio 2016 will be the 27th time since 1932 that the Swiss brand has been the official timekeeper of the Games.
