Luxury apartments and exclusive penthouses on the banks of the River Thames in London have gone on sale to investors wishing to invest in the UK capital’s ‘south bank’ hotspot.
Wanda One, the UK subsidiary of leading Chinese real estate company Dalian Wanda Group, has unveiled the first collection of apartments to be launched at its landmark One Nine Elms development, which will include a five-star hotel.
Situated on the banks of the River Thames, the first release of apartments in City Tower at One Nine Elms will provide a collection of 200 exclusive one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with interiors designed by United Design Partnership and each enjoying panoramic views of the London skyline.
One Nine Elms comprises two residential towers, City Tower and River Tower, designed by world renowned architectural practice Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) Associates.
City Tower reaches 199 m in height, and consists of 330 luxury residential apartments. The landmark development which will soon become one of Western Europe’s tallest residential projects is due for completion in winter, 2018.

The 1.13 million-sq-ft One Nine Elms scheme will comprise a prime residential offering of 436 apartments, coupled with a five-star Wanda Vista hotel. There will be a further 3,584 sq ft of high-quality retail space, 24 hour concierge, private residents’ gym and executive lounge, landscaped parkland, and river fronting boulevard for the local community to enjoy.
Through combining meticulous attention-to-detail, high quality specifications, and world-class resident facilities, One Nine Elms will echo the level of quality already synonymous with Wanda’s luxury credentials and brands, which include Sunseeker, acquired by Wanda last year.
Centrally located, the One Nine Elms development enjoys a variety of direct national and international transport links, connecting residents to Canary Wharf in 24 minutes, City Airport in 36 minutes and London Heathrow in 54 minutes.
Prices start from £795,000 ($1.27 million) and though prices of the penthouses have not been revealed, press reports put penthouses at the nearby One St George Wharf in the range of around £50 million ($80 million).
