The latest model of a jet boat built in the UAE and designed to thrill water sports enthusiasts has been launched in the market.
The C-Eagle 220x jet boat is the second generation of MTM Powersports’ flagship Sportboat models and the first jet boat manufactured in the Middle East, authorised by SEA-Doo. It is said to deliver an unparalleled boating experience with its empowering technology, enviable performance and audacious design.
Following the success of the C-Eagle in 2015, this year’s generation has been improved with advancements featuring a substantial focus on luxury, high-quality materials and innovative technology.
The C-Eagle 220x features the same high quality hull, equipped with the twin Rotex 4-Tec 250 hp supercharged engines. Controlled by an electric throttle, the engines provide ease of handling and smoothness with speeds up to 65 miles per hour (105 kmph).
Unlike a conventional prop engine, which pushes water out in a dispersed pattern, Rotax Jet Power concentrates on thrust. An onboard impeller pulls water in and forces it out from a single point for maximum power.
Designed in collaboration with leading marine specialists and built in the UAE, the boat features sleek, stunning lines with eye-catching graphics, and matching interior accents with premium Italian-made stainless hardware and high-quality flooring materials from the US.
The C-Eagle 220x boasts a 22-feet spacious interior with a seating capacity of up to 11 passengers and a carefully laid out cockpit to provide plenty of room to move around, with a nicely styled, comfort ride interior spring seating, with premium upholstery delivering a smooth ride.
In addition, the jet boat features the Medallion Viper II control centre with a 12-inch touchscreen, providing the driver with full control over the boat.
The screen uses the same technology designed for premium automobiles and is clearly visible in direct sunlight. The Viper II is also equipped with GPS integrated world maps, Bluetooth and two USB ports for connecting cellphones and/or music devices.
The jet boat comes with an extended swim platform with two stainless steel re-boarding ladders, multiple storage units, aerial tower, aerial freerode wakeboard tower, a shower with 70-litre water tank, lighting, and a marine windshield. It is also equipped with a 1,800 W integrated stereo system with six speakers, sub-woofers, and amplifiers.
“As one of the Middle East’s industry leaders, we’re committed to providing our customers across the region with a memorable and second-to-none high-adrenaline watersport experience,” said Bassem Wazafi, Commercial Manager, MTM Powersports. “We’re extremely excited to unveil the C-Eagle 220x as the first jet boat manufactured in the Middle East, setting new standards with luxurious features that position it at the forefront of its class.”
MTM Powersports, affiliated with the Al Masaood group, has been the UAE distributor for Sea-Doo Watercraft, Can-Am ATVs and side-by-side vehicles (SSV) along with the Can-Am Spyder Roadster Motorcycle from BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) since 2009.
The C-Eagle’s price starts at AED269,000 ($73,000).
