Autumn 2022
Known for innovation and high-quality craftsmanship and design, Loewe continues to push the boundaries of television viewing.
The German luxury technology brand recently introduced its ultimate OLED display, ‘The Iconic’. As the world prepares to gather around screens to watch the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar, Loewe is offering a very unique high-end immersive experience.
In an interview with Breck Graham for Arabian Knight, Loewe Technology Chief Operating Officer Christian Alber says together with the pioneering spirit and many years of experience of Loewe experts in development and the unique Loewe design, Made in Germany is the DNA of the Loewe brand. Loewe customers expect this guarantee of quality, he explains.
The Loewe Iconic is only available from authorised retailers. The Loewe Premium Service for these special TV models is also exceptional. After individual consultation with the customer, the TV model is delivered and set up by the specialised Loewe dealer. An initial installation is also carried out so that the customer can start directly into his TV pleasure, says Alber.
Highlighting the unique qualities of the products, he says in both the Loewe Iconic.65 and Loewe iconic.55 TV models, the latest OLED panel generation in conjunction with the individual calibration for each set ensures a perfect TV picture. In addition, the sound bar, which is perfectly integrated into the design, offers a natural audio experience with impressive, room-filling cinema sound with 360 watts of total music power and excellent speech intelligibility even in larger rooms.
Can clients request personalised details for The Iconic or other high-end televisions? Yes, says Alber. “Our own production in Germany, based on the manufactory concept, enables a high degree of adaptability. In contrast to mass production, Loewe focuses on individuality and flexibility of product concepts. This means that we can also realize customer-specific requirements (on request)”.
“We are currently thinking in various directions about making the Loewe Iconic even more extraordinary with special editions. This is connected with special locations for exclusive product presentations. We are also in talks with Harrods in London and other exclusive stores,” he adds.
The base price for 55 inches starts at around $6,500 and 65 inches starts at around $8,000.
With the FIFA World Cup Qatar round the corner, we ask Alber which Loewe models he will recommend for viewing the matches.
“Our large formats like the Loewe bild s.77 with a diagonal of 77 inches and immersive sound makes the sporting event even more emotional, as if you were there live in the stadium. That's why I would recommend our OLED TVs 55 inches or larger.”
