Translating high horology into everyday luxury, four new additions to Ralph Lauren’s 867 timepiece collection reinterpret the elegance of the Art Deco era into polished, pragmatic designs.
“Though the collections I create may be inspired by dreams, they are for real life -- for all kinds of living,” Lauren said.
The signature square design of the Ralph Lauren 867 Collection combines the classicism of a pure and simple watch that displays only the essential information – the time -- and the modernity of Art Deco style.
The watch features classical proportions with symmetrical square cases of 28 mm and 32 mm in sterling silver or 18K rose gold, lacquered white dials comprised of concentric squares with Arabic and Roman numerals and sleek Breguet-style hands.
Crafted in the elite tradition of Swiss horology, the 28 mm and 32 mm 867 timepieces are powered by an “extra-flat” mechanical manual winding Swiss movement, hand finished with vertical Côtes de Genève stripes and circular graining, known as Perlage.
The interchangeable shiny black alligator strap is hand-stitched using the best quality of skins to complete the sophisticated look of a Tuxedo cuff with a sterling silver or 18K rose gold pin buckle.
The Ralph Lauren 867 Collection -- inspired by the designer’s iconic New York men’s flagship at 867 Madison Avenue -- represents the ultimate in fine craftsmanship and the designer’s enduring passion for Art Deco design.
Launched in 2008, Ralph Lauren Watches and Jewelry combines the highest-quality Swiss-manufacture movements with Ralph Lauren’s most iconic inspirations – from the equestrian elegance of the Stirrup watches to the Safari and Automotive collections.
Each collection is distributed through select Ralph Lauren boutiques and the finest independent watch and jewellery retailers worldwide. Ralph Lauren Fine Jewelry includes the signature Ralph Lauren Equestrian, Art Deco, and Chunky Chain collections, handcrafted with the finest materials and techniques.
