Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Middle East & Africa (MEA) has recorded outstanding sales results in 2022, the company has reported.
Total sales across the region grew by 38% year-on-year, driven principally by Ghost and Cullinan, with demand surging further following the launch of Black Badge Ghost, Phantom Series II and Spectre during the year, it said.
Globally, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars achieved its highest-ever annual sales in 2022, delivering a total of 6,021 motor cars, up 8% on 2021, to clients in around 50 countries worldwide. This is the first time in the company's 118-year history that its sales have exceeded 6,000 in a single 12-month period.
The year saw the inauguration of the new Private Office in Dubai, UAE, the first of its kind outside the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood. The Private Office Dubai facilitates even closer contact and relationships with Middle East clients, and brings the full brand experience and capabilities directly to them.
Bespoke commissions remained at record levels in 2022. The highlight of the year was Phantom ‘The Six Elements’, co-created in a unique collaboration with world-renowned artist Sacha Jafri.
The new Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha showroom represents another major milestone for the brand’s evolution to become a true House of Luxury. The first showroom in the Middle East & Africa region to be remodelled in the new Rolls-Royce visual identity, it is designed to appeal to a younger, self-made and highly individual clientele, and create a wholly immersive client experience.
Reflecting on the results, Regional Director César Habib said: “In 2022, we inspired the world with our collaborations and Bespoke capabilities, and took a hugely significant step into our all-electric future. All these achievements have been made possible by the dedication and commitment of our own Rolls-Royce team, and our dealer partners across the region. It is truly a privilege and an honour to work alongside them every day.”
Meanwhile, order book for all models , including the fully electric Super Coupé, Spectre, is filled far into 2023, it said.
