DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF) has added a Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft to its managed fleet.
DCAF will manage and operate the new aircraft on behalf of its private owner. This brings the total number of aircraft under management to nine.
The new aircraft will be based at DCAF’s home base at Al Maktoum International Airport.
The management contract will see DCAF provide full flight operational aircraft management services, continuous airworthiness management organisation (CAMO), hangar parking and FBO handling at its facility at Al Maktoum International Airport, in addition to providing maintenance services for the aircraft.
Holger Ostheimer, Managing Director of DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, said: “This year as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are extremely pleased to have grown our managed fleet with the addition of the Global 7500. The addition of this new aircraft is a strong testament to our ability to offer our customers the highest level of service further reaffirming our resolve to put the customer at the forefront of everything that we do.”
The Global 7500 can fly an industry-leading 7,700 nautical mile range with a top speed of Mach 0.925 and exceptional short-field performance. It is the only business jet large enough to accommodate four true living spaces, a dedicated crew suite and a kitchen, said the statement.
DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF) is a joint venture between Stuttgart-based DC Aviation, the largest operator of business jets in Germany and one of the leading operators in Europe, and Dubai-based Al-Futtaim, a privately owned UAE business conglomerate.
DCAF is the first and only fully integrated business aviation facility based out of Al Maktoum International Airport located at Dubai South (formerly Dubai World Central) with two dedicated hangars measuring 5,700 sq m and 7,500 sq m, bringing its total land-side plot area to 24,000 sq m and apron area to 13,000 sq m.
VVIP customers can also enjoy the 1,300 sq m exclusive lounge area designed to international standards offering customers the highest levels of comfort and privacy, shower areas and a conference room.
