Euro Motors, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles for Bahrain, has launched the all-new BMW X1, which boasts superior spaciousness, advanced digitalisation – and, for the first time, an all-electric drive system.
With its robust appearance and functional versatility, the third generation of BMW X1 embodies an authentic experience, sophisticated ambience, and a broader selection of standard equipment and features such as two-zone automatic climate control, sport leather steering wheel and BMW Maps, compared to earlier models.
The all-new BMW Operating System 8 and BMW Curved Display also redefine the forward-looking character of this Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) for the premium compact segment.
The BMW X1 was officially unveiled in Bahrain by David McGoldrick, General Manager of Euro Motors, in a glittering ceremony in Manama City, in the presence of BMW customers, fans and the media.
McGoldrick said: “We are thrilled to introduce the all-new BMW X1 for the first time in Bahrain, and especially excited because in its third generation, this is the most appealing model ever to welcome esteemed customers into the world of BMW X. The combination of driving pleasure, digital connectivity, comfort and luxury makes the all-new BMW X1 a best-seller in its segment, and we are proud to introduce a new era of driving pleasure for luxury compact SAVs in Bahrain.
“We are confident that connoisseurs and fans of BMW will find the powerful build and the distinct muscular design of the X1 an unbeatable proposition. The launch of the all-new BMW X1 marks a new chapter for Euro Motors in Bahrain,” he said.
The all-new BMW X1 comes with a choice of two petrol engines, paired with a seven-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch as standard. Featuring BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology, the new BMW X1 also treats its occupants to the latest-generation BMW iDrive multi-sensory vehicle experience in the form of the standard-fit BMW Live Cockpit Plus.
ALL-ELECTRIC
The all-electric BMW iX1 xDrive30, meanwhile, comes with a combined power consumption of 18.1 – 16.8 kWh/100 km in the WLTP cycle, and marks an enticing offering for electric mobility in the kingdom.
Expressively sculpted surfaces and a long roofline distinguish the BMW X1’s dynamically stretched silhouette. When viewed from the rear, the slim tailgate window, horizontal lines, striking LED lights and flared wheel arches produce the typical SAV look.
Optional features for the BMW X1 include Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function, Exit Warning function and BMW Head-Up Display, as well as Remote 3D View, BMW Drive Recorder and Remote Theft Recorder functions. – TradeArabia News Service
