The Legacy 500, Embraer’s new midsize business jet, will make its debut at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK, which runs from July 11 to 17.
Embraer’s first aircraft with full fly-by-wire technology will be on static display along with the company's other products.
The Legacy 500 is the latest aircraft approved to operate at London City Airport, complying with the airport’s demanding steep approach and rigorous climb-out procedures.
The revolutionary aircraft is a flawless combination of technology and design. It features the largest cabin in its class and became the first in its category to replace conventional controls with digital flight controls.
Centreline Air Charter, a subsidiary of the Bristol Flying Centre (BFC) Group, recently became the first operator of the Legacy 500 in the UK.
The new aircraft has been based at Bristol Airport since April. A fleet of over 30 Legacy 500s is now in operation in 12 countries.
