Maserati has named the brand's most powerful and extraordinary track-only car as Maserati MCXtrema.
The Maserati MCXtrema will be revealed at The Quail on August 18, during the prestigious Monterey Car Week 2023.
Maserati MCXtrema will encapsulate all the disruptive force of a 730-hp racing car.
At first, it was secretly known as ‘Project24’. Now the official name has been revealed: a reminiscence of the Maserati MC20 base model – the “first of its kind”, a super sports car entirely made in Italy that has marked the beginning of the brand’s new era.
It also pays homage to the strong legacy of Maserati Corse, along with the concept of the extreme, which recalls the superlative soul of this outstanding four-wheeled marvel.
The concept behind this unique product – only 62 vehicles produced worldwide and already sold out – is the idea of unleashing a true racing beast, something different and disruptive compared with anything that has ever been done before.
A car dedicated to the excellence of gentleman drivers and racing car enthusiasts, designed to impress and to ignite passion for extreme racing, ready to conquer the tracks around the world – in private test sessions – with its fine design and mind-blowing performance.
