BMW lets you keep tabs on your 5 Series
BMW’s new 5 Series will allow users to get a 360-degree view of the car and its surrounds in 3D on their phone.
By using the BMW Connected app, a ‘Remote 3D View’ feature will use the car’s exterior cameras to offer a complete picture of where the car is parked, according to a short video teaser released by the German luxury carmaker on Facebook and Twitter.
While BMW has not revealed much more at this time, the feature could potentially be used to check if your BMW is secure or facilitate remote parking.
The new 2017 BMW 5 Series is expected to be unveiled next month.
