Volkswagen electric car to be ‘game changer’
Volkswagen is to show off a game-changing electric concept car at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The concept is being presented under the theme “Think New” and is based on its all-new Modular Electric Model (MEB) design.
The German carmaker says that the concept vehicle is “as revolutionary as the Beetle was seven decades ago, before it evolved into the world’s best-selling car of the last century” and that it has the “potential to make history”.
The production vehicle to follow the concept will be the first Volkswagen to enter the market based on the MEB, it said.
The Paris Motor Show will be held from October 1 to 16 in Paris, France.
