Julius Baer has appointed Ashwin Jayaram as Team Head, Global NRI based in Singapore effective August 19.
He will be based in Singapore, reporting to Vijay Solomon, Group Head, Global NRI.
Bringing with him over two decades of expertise in the wealth management industry, Ashwin has held various leadership roles focused on the South Asian diaspora at leading institutions including Bank J Safra Sarasin, Credit Suisse, and Coutts Bank. Most recently, he served as CEO and Managing Director at a MAS licensed multi-family office serving UHNW clients across SE Asia, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
Julius Baer is committed to strengthening its presence in the Global NRI market, and Ashwin’s appointment is a key step in advancing the bank’s growth strategy, said a statement.
His extensive background in serving the unique needs of NRI clients will be instrumental in driving forward the bank’s ambitious plans to further expand its footprint in this critical market, it added.
