beOnd, the world’s first premium leisure airline, has announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of an Airbus A321, equipped with 68 luxurious lie-flat seats.
The aircraft is set to provide superior travel experience for customers across beOnd’s ever-growing network, the airline said.
“We are thrilled to bring this new aircraft into operation,” said Tero Taskila, Chairman and CEO of beOnd. “Its introduction strengthens our capabilities and enhances our ability to deliver the elevated flying experience that our customers expect. From the moment passengers spot this striking aircraft at their departure points to the instant they step on board, they will experience the exceptional service and luxury synonymous with beOnd.”
With the increased capacity provided by this aircraft, beOnd is better positioned to meet rising demand while maintaining its high standards of excellence. Supported by beOnd’s free flight guarantee, passengers and agency partners can continue to trust in the airline’s operational reliability and commitment to providing seamless journeys, it said.
This development follows beOnd’s successful route launches between Milan, Zurich, Munich, Riyadh, Dubai, and the Maldives, along with recent authorisation to operate flights from Zurich to the UAE. The inclusion of the new Airbus A321, alongside these strategic moves, underscores beOnd’s vision and the ongoing success of its exclusive leisure model, it added.
Since launching commercial operations in November 2023 with its inaugural Airbus A319, which features a boutique 44-seat, all-lie-flat configuration, beOnd has been at the forefront of redefining luxury air travel. The entry of this latest aircraft into service will support the airline’s ambitious plans to extend its network, connecting Europe, Dubai, and Bangkok with the Maldives.
