Autumn 2024
Launched just seven months ago in Geneva, Swiss luxury watch brand Guebly has quickly made its mark with the debut of its Prologue model. Building on this early success, Guebly is now expanding into the Middle East with its first retail presence in Dubai, in collaboration with Perpétuel Gallery.
Situated in the heart of Dubai’s International Financial District, Perpétuel is highly regarded for its extensive knowledge of independent watchmakers, making it an ideal partner for Guebly in a region where clients value both innovation and timeless design, according to the watchmaker.
Founded by Hamdan bin Humaid Al Hudaidi, Perpétuel has quickly established itself as a premier destination for collectors, offering unique pieces and exclusive collaborations with independent watchmakers, who may be lesser-known but are revered for their creativity and craftsmanship.
This boutique marks the second milestone of Guebly’s expansion, following the brand’s launch in the UK with The Limited Edition.
The ‘Prologue’ watch represents the pinnacle of everyday luxury, offering a design that is both subtle and elegant while featuring the kind of exceptional finishing typically reserved for the most prestigious brands.
Developed in close collaboration with Voutilainen & Catin’s ateliers, hand-finisher Nathalie Jean-Louis, and Thomas Aubert, a prototype specialist, every detail of the ‘Prologue’ has been meticulously crafted to deliver a truly remarkable timepiece.
Its sleek case, superb finishing, and precision movement are a testament to the expertise of the artisans behind Guebly’s success.
“The story of Guebly is just beginning. With a continued focus on retrograde movements, Guebly’s mission is to push the boundaries of horological design and technical mastery while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic vision,” it said.
The next major milestone for the brand will be
the unveiling of the Chapter 1 watch in the coming months, launching an exciting new phase in Guebly’s evolution.
