Autumn 2024
In celebration of its rich heritage and artisanal mastery, Italian jewellery house Pomellato has presented ‘Memorie D’archivio’ – Archival Memories.
This captivating series of rings marks the beginning of a new chapter, honouring the brand’s deep-rooted connection to nature and art through two reimagined capsule collections from its storied past: ‘Mora’ and ‘Mosaico’.
Nestled in the heart of Milan, Pomellato has long been revered for its innovative designs and exquisite craftsmanship.
Since its inception in 1967, the brand has continuously pushed the boundaries of jewellery design, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity. Today, Pomellato takes a journey through time, revisiting and reinventing two beloved collections from 1996 and 1997, each of them embodying a vibrant expression of bold elegance.
At the core of these collections lies a re-interpretation of Pomellato’s signature cabochon cut and a tribute to its smooth, sensual shapes. This voluptuous gem cut, explored in all its forms and dimensions, has become synonymous with Pomellato’s distinctive style, symbolising the brand’s ethos of elegant playfulness.
Mora: The ‘Mora’ collection, named after the Italian word for blackberry, is a whimsical tribute to nature’s abundance. Each ring in this collection is a miniature masterpiece, featuring a cluster of cabochon gemstones perched atop a sculptural rose gold band. The standout piece marries the mesmerising blue-bended hues of labradorite with the brilliant sparkle of white diamonds, creating a captivating interplay of light and colour. Another striking design pairs the ethereal tones of chalcedony with white diamonds, offering a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Mosaico: Drawing inspiration from the timeless art of mosaic, the ‘Mosaico’ collection brings ancient craftsmanship into the modern era. Each ring showcases a large, statement composition of cabochon-cut gemstone, complemented by a brilliant-cut diamond or coloured gemstone pavé set in Pomellato’s signature rose gold.
