Perrelet will show off its latest creations at the 23rd edition of Jewellery Arabia, the prestigious Middle East watch and jewelry exhibition, which opens in Bahrain tomorrow.
Present for the third straight year at the Asia Jewellers booth, the Swiss brand’s local partner, Perrelet will unveil its 2014 releases with a special focus on its men’s collection: the Turbine Pilot, Turbine Yacht and Turbine Skeleton.
The new Turbine Pilot collection associates the Turbine concept with that of the circular aviation slide rule: a new technical and stylistic exercise for a truly unique aviator watch.
The Turbine Yacht collection is billed as a line that will prove an excellent seagoing companion, combining Perrelet’s famous Turbine with a function stemming from the maritime world: the windrose. An evolved version of the Turbine Diver, the Turbine Yacht combines within a single watch the aesthetic and ornamental design codes of the most prestigious ships.
Perrelet mingles its technical expertise with a flair for contemporary aesthetics in the Turbine Skeleton collection. For the very first time, the maison combines a skeleton movement with a turbine, thereby completely reinventing its iconic model.
Launched in 1992, the annual Jewellery Arabia exhibition has established itself as the major watch and jewellery event in the Middle East.
Held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC), this year’s event has as many as 600 exhibitors.
The prices for the Turbine Pilot models are $6,570 and $7,300; the Turbine Yacht, $6,570 and $7,300; and the Turbine Skeleton, $7,410, $7,665 and $9,960.
