Royal Jet has been awarded ‘Middle East’s Leading Private Jet Charter’ at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2016.
This is the ninth year running that the Abu Dhabi-headquartered operator has received the award, which is voted for by travel and tourism professionals worldwide and recognises the commitment to excellence that the company has demonstrated over the past 12 months.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Managing Director at Royal Jet, who accepted the award during the presentation ceremony held at the St Regis Hotel in Dubai earlier this month, said: “We are proud to once again be named the region’s leading private jet charter company. This award speaks volumes about our commitment to providing the ultimate luxury VIP experience and personalised service offering to a well discerning clientele. I would like to thank our team of dedicated employees, whose highest degrees of integrity, contribution, and involvement are pivotal in achieving this success.”
Royal Jet is currently the world's largest single Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) operator and operates 13 aircraft – eight BBJs (including two in final outfitting coming in October and November this year), two Bombardier Global 5000s, two Learjets and one Gulfstream G300.
Royal Jet, the Middle East’s foremost private charter company, is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi Aviation, a publicly listed company on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange and Presidential Flight, the royal flight service.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Royal Jet operates from its Fixed Based Operations (FBO)/VIP terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
