Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has opened its first boutique in Saudi Arabia.
The boutique in the capital Riyadh was opened in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s First Jewelry Group.
Located in the bustling Al Olaya commercial and residential district, the boutique offers visitors the chance to explore not only IWC’s core models, but also its recently launched Portofino Midsize collection.
IWC Brand Director Middle East & India Karoline Huber comments: “First Jewelry Group is a long-standing partner. With the opening of the boutique we are aiming to strengthen our ties with the Saudi market and to grant the country’s many watch connoisseurs the opportunity to experience our brand and products in a vibrant and luxurious atmosphere.”
THE BOUTIQUE
Located in the First Jewelry shop in Al Olaya, the IWC Schaffhausen boutique is an exquisite setting in which to present the brand’s collection of exclusive watches. The concept is the same as other IWC boutiques worldwide: a space which allows clients to explore the fascinating and diverse watch families that are wonderfully displayed throughout the boutique.
The dark wooden interior creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, and provides the perfect backdrop for IWC’s coveted timepieces. A private lounge area enables customers to discover and appreciate these fine examples of haute horlogerie in quiet and elegant surroundings.
Mohammad Altayeb of the First Jewelry Group said that the company and IWC Schaffhausen have shared a successful relationship since the start. “With this opening we hope to get closer to our valued clientele and allow them to truly discover the universe of IWC,” he said.
THE PORTOFINO MIDSIZE COLLECTION
Following the launch of the Portofino Midsize collection, IWC now offers this range of watches in the new boutique. An extension of the brand’s popular Portofino family, the Midsize collection caters to watch lovers who prefer a slightly smaller timepiece. The flagship model is the Portofino Midsize Automatic Moon Phase, in which, for the first time ever, the designers have depicted the entire moon phase display as a star-studded night sky, with the moon and stars appearing to float in infinite space.
With a clear focus on technology and development, IWC Schaffhausen has been producing timepieces of lasting value since 1868. The company has gained an international reputation based on a passion for innovative solutions and technical ingenuity.
One of the world’s leading brands in the luxury watch segment, IWC crafts masterpieces of haute horlogerie at their finest, combining supreme precision with exclusive design.
