Thousands of race fans have been downloading a sports app ahead of the final event of the Formula 1 season which kicks off at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE, tomorrow.
Racegoers wanting to get the most out of the biggest ever Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have been downloading the YasHub app in their thousands, according to the circuit.
The demand for the app online at both Android and Apple stores in the UAE has pushed the app to the top spot in the sports app category, it adds.
YasHub will offer the latest news from drivers, teams and the circuit, as well as a completely bespoke, personalised experience while providing comprehensive solutions to every aspect of this motorsport and entertainment weekend.
It allows users to be part of the Formula 1 social conversation with The Hub, create their very own feed by selecting their favourite Formula 1 drivers, teams, partners and artists and follow their updates across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Additionally, the app brings users the latest headlines on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from some of the leading voices in the sport directly to their smartphone or tablet.
Also, Formula 1 Weekend section of the app will keep users up to date on the latest news including full event schedules, competitions, autograph-signing sessions, full entertainment line-ups and more, the circuit says.
Finally, the Abu Dhabi Guide section is a one-stop shop for everything one needs to know about Abu Dhabi including, dining, attractions and adventures.
