Dutch shipyard Feadship is now completing work on a 93-m superyacht, which emerged from one of its construction halls in Makkum last month.
The 96-m Vertigo, which boasts a splendidly streamlined exterior profile, was bought out into the open air in order to complete outfitting work before putting the yacht through stringent sea trials.
Hidden behind her elegant exterior profile are some amazing features including a 42,000-litre swimming pool which forms part of the beach club’s ceiling, and an awesome forward-facing owner’s stateroom with a 3-m-high skylight ceiling above the bed.
Vertigo was a complex project, with Feadship constructing five different 10-m hatches in its giant hull, two of which will be used to launch the superyacht’s custom tenders.
Feadship says the build is fresh testimony to its focus on teamwork, as it successfully partnered with the owner, the project management team from Azure, and the design teams from Redman Whiteley Dixon and Chahan Interior Design.
