ExecuJet Middle East is celebrating a successful first six months for its new FBO at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, UAE.
Since the new site opened in Dubai South in June 2016, ExecuJet Middle East has been appointed as the preferred ground handler at the airport for Universal Weather & Aviation and the FBO has introduced a range of new services for visiting crew including massage chairs and food and beverage treats in the crew lounges.
Dumani Ndebele, Regional FBO Manager, ExecuJet Middle East, says: “The past six months have been an exciting period for the ExecuJet Middle East team. Feedback from both customers and crew has been very positive. Customers are enjoying the smooth travel experience with the large luggage screening facility which allows big items to pass through quickly without the need to take bags elsewhere, saving valuable minutes on travel time. The four separate lounges also guarantee our clients utmost privacy. The crew lounge opens directly onto the operations room, so easy access to ExecuJet’s attentive staff is never an issue.”
ExecuJet’s FBO facility at Al Maktoum International is a purpose-built 600-sq-m facility and offers four VIP passenger lounges, a crew lounge, two transit lounges, washrooms and showers, a prayer room and onsite customs and immigration. The ambience is intimate, with stylish leather sofas, chrome and glass coffee tables, and monochrome prints of aviation photography on display.
The FBO is manned by 25 customer service and ramp staff, and has 17,000 sq m of exclusive ExecuJet parking space, offering dedicated hydrant fuelling points which ensure faster fuelling for clients.
ExecuJet also has an extended maintenance capability at DWC which is approved to undertake line maintenance for Bombardier, Embraer and Textron Aviation products – also supported at ExecuJet’s MRO at Dubai International Airport.
ExecuJet is exhibiting at the MEBAA Show on stand number 598.
Organised by the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), the show opens today and runs until December 8 at the Airshow site in Dubai South (Dubai World Central),
ExecuJet offers a diverse range of services including aircraft management for private and commercial registered aircraft, aircraft charter, aircraft maintenance, aircraft completions management and fixed base operations. Headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, ExecuJet operates in six regions – Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East – and has 24 world-class FBO facilities worldwide.
