Bombardier Business Aircraft is showing off its class-defining business aircraft at the MEBAA Show in Dubai UAE.
The company's most advanced business jets are on static display, including the Learjet 75, Challenger 650, Global 5000 and Global 6000 aircraft.
Organised by the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), the show opened today at the Airshow site in Dubai South (Dubai World Central) and runs until December 8.
"Once again we are delighted to participate in full force at MEBAA with our stellar line-up of business jets," said Peter Likoray, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "With a very strong team and a fleet of more than 100 aircraft based in the Middle East, Bombardier is well-positioned to build on its current presence as a world-class provider of exceptional business aircraft in the region.
"We expect the Middle East to remain a promising market for business aviation in the next 10 years. Our market forecast predicts 350 deliveries valued at $12 billion over the next 10 years, with Medium and Large category aircraft accounting for about 95 per cent of these deliveries," he added.
Bombardier continues to grow its leadership position in the business aviation industry with the most comprehensive product portfolio and a superior service worldwide that provides customers with an outstanding onboard experience.
LEARJET 75
As part of the pioneer Learjet family, the Learjet 75 aircraft continues to set the standard by bringing large jet features to the most trusted light jet platform. As the only business jet in its class to feature an eight-seat double-club configuration, a flat floor throughout the cabin, and a pocket door for reduced noise levels, the class-defining Learjet 75 aircraft offers the ultimate in comfort and privacy.
Along with the Bombardier Vision flight deck, its modern interior was designed for style and comfort and features a new cabin management system with individual touchscreen monitors and full audio and video control, LED lighting throughout the entire aircraft, and a generous baggage suite.
The Learjet 75 aircraft's powerful engines and new winglet design enable it to cruise at a speed of Mach 0.81 and climb to an impressive operating ceiling of 51,000 feet (15,545 m). The jet can also achieve an exceptional range capability greater than 2,000 nm (3,704 km) and can fly four passengers and two crew non-stop from Dubai to Istanbul.
CHALLENGER 650
A masterful expression of high-end craftsmanship and functionality, the Challenger 650 aircraft is designed to be the most reliable business aircraft. The Challenger 650 business jet provides the ultimate in-flight experience with industry-leading connectivity, an immersive sound system, and a cabin management system that effortlessly brings it all together in the widest in-class cabin.
Featuring the Bombardier Vision flight deck and state-of-the-art Synthetic Vision System (SVS), MultiScan weather radar, and available Head-up Display with Enhanced Vision System (EVS), the aircraft's avionics provide increased situational awareness and reduced pilot workload.
With a true 4,000 nm (7,408 km) range capability, the jet connects Dubai to London (Farnborough) non-stop while delivering the lowest direct operating costs in its class, says Bombardier. Built upon the most successful large segment business aircraft platform of all time and designed to create an unforgettable experience, the Challenger 650 aircraft is the first choice among experienced flight departments.
GLOBAL 5000
By combining expert engineering and superior craftsmanship, every detail on the Global 5000 aircraft has been meticulously designed to deliver nothing less than what an exceptional private jet should be.
With a cabin that is nearly a foot wider (30 cm) than its nearest competitor, coupled with an advanced wing design that optimises speed, range and control, the Global 5000 aircraft delivers maximum comfort and a remarkably smooth and comfortable ride.
The Global 5000 aircraft also comes equipped with the fastest inflight internet connectivity worldwide to keep passengers connected in a highly productive working environment.
Boasting impressive range, speed and reliability that blend perfectly to offer outstanding field performance, the Global 5000 business jet can effortlessly access some of the world's most challenging airports, including Aspen and London City. With a range capability of 5,200 nm (9,630 km) it can connect Dubai to Tokyo non-stop.
GLOBAL 6000
The Global 6000 business jet features an intelligently crafted interior that balances luxury with productivity. Offering more cabin volume and floor space than any other aircraft in its class, the Global 6000 aircraft is nearly a foot wider (30 cm) than its nearest competitor to provide maximum comfort. With its superior Ka-band technology option, the Global 6000 delivers the industry's fastest inflight internet connectivity worldwide to keep passengers connected at all times, says Bombardier.
Elevating the customer experience at every possible level, the Global 6000 aircraft's advanced wing design promotes a smooth and restful flight while the circulation of 100 per cent fresh air ensures passengers stay refreshed.
No other business jet in the ultra-long-range segment today matches the high-speed range capability and mission flexibility delivered by the Global 6000, says Bombardier. Providing the ultimate in cabin comfort, this impressive jet can travel 6,000 nm (11,112 km) at Mach 0.85 with eight passengers, and can link Dubai to Perth (Australia) non-stop with eight passengers and four crew.
Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, Bombardier is the world's leading manufacturer of both planes and trains.
