A new mobile app that enables wealthy individuals to book bespoke yachting holidays at the touch of a button has been launched in the Middle East.
Launched by superyacht brokerage service Yachting Partners International (YPI), the app opens up a world of holiday experiences that cater to a customer’s every need, according to the company.
The yachts featured by YPI are kitted out with fully air-conditioned gymnasiums, private Jacuzzis and even helipads, a popular feature with executives flying in from abroad.
“For so many people, the concept of booking a holiday with family or friends on board any one of some of the world’s most luxurious private superyachts is more of a voyage into the unknown than a reality. Our job is to change that,’’ says Marketing Director Mark Duncan. “The Middle East is home to some of the wealthiest people on the planet, and the new playground of the rich and famous. The region accounts for a large number of our bookings. Ultra-high net worth individuals are using superyachts to wine and dine friends and business associates, who fly in to experience some of the best marine scenery in the world.”
Accessible through the app is a live interactive dedicated yacht search, Yachts Around Me, based on the yachts’ real-time location. The filterable search feature allows users to find out more about the yachts they see around them or yachts they specifically would like to know more about.
Users also benefit from stunning photo galleries of a yacht, along with details indicating whether the vessel is available for charter or sale.
The app presents an overview of luxury yachting including the locations, the yachts and how luxury yacht charter works. It includes features, interviews and easy-to-understand beginners’ guides together with recommended exclusive holiday destinations, itineraries and yacht galleries.
YPI is currently shortlisted for an award at the prestigious CMA International Content Marketing Awards, which will be held in London, UK, tomorrow.
“There is no more bespoke, discreet or rewarding holiday than that enjoyed on board a personally chartered yacht, with the owner’s personal crew and chef at your service and some of the most spectacular coastlines, islands and bays just waiting to be explored – many of which are not even accessible by land,” said Duncan. “Our app gives a glimpse of what newcomers can experience and importantly it shows them how to go about booking their first private yacht charter experience.”
The app is now available on both the Play and App store for free download.
