A new Ted Baker store featuring an interior design inspired by pearls has opened at the City Centre shopping mall in Bahrain.
The 2,544-sq-ft foot store is located on the first floor of the mall and hosts Ted’s AW16 menswear, womenswear and accessory collections.
With every Ted Baker store design being bespoke and no two the same, Bahrain is no exception. For this interior Ted took inspiration from pearl diving, which was highly popular in Bahrain in the late 1930’s.
The shop front is created with one central door and a mannequin window display either side. Door handles to the entrance are crafted with brass balls welded together to create handles subtly referencing pearls.
Inside, two large jelly fish style chandeliers hang from the centre of the space; at each tier of the chandelier features, mesh will be hung to catch glass fish, pearls and more of Ted’s marine treasures. The cash desk features a large glass box, full of pearls and other pearly sea life props.
Luxury clothing retailer Ted Baker London is world-renowned for its stylish and sophisticated menswear, womenswear, accessories, and is loved for its quality and distinctive use of design and colour. With the perfect blend of attention to detail, beautiful designs and high quality fabrics, Ted mixes traditional and contemporary influences with an irreverent sense of humour and a quintessential British attitude.
