Embraer has appointed Michael Amalfitano as the President and CEO of its Executive Jets business unit.
Amalfitano will succeed Marco Tulio Pellegrini, who will assume another leadership position to be announced soon.
The change will become effective as of March 1, 2017.

We are confident that as a very seasoned and successful executive he is qualified to take advantage of our position as a leading player in this highly competitive industry,” said Paulo Cesar Silva, Embraer CEO.
Amalfitano joins the company bringing 35 years of experience in corporate aircraft finance, having held several global leadership positions with equipment leasing companies such as Stonebriar Commercial Finance, Banc of America Leasing, Fleet Capital, and GE Capital. His remarkable experience and industry reputation adds considerable strength, network and market presence to the company.

Embraer is a global company headquartered in Brazil with businesses in commercial and executive aviation, defence and security. The company designs, develops, manufactures and markets aircraft and systems, providing customer support and services.
Since it was founded in 1969, Embraer has delivered more than 8,000 aircraft.
