Qatar’s Ali Bin Ali Watches and Jewelry has one of the largest pavilions at the 2017 Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE).
The pavilion houses 45 international brands, many of them iconic, and exudes an aura of luxury.
Ali Bin Ali has participated in all the 14 editions of the DJWE and is proud of its association with the event.
"The visionary leadership of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and his precious and continuous support has transformed this event into one of the nation's finest displays of luxury, beauty and elegance," says Nabeel Ali Bin Ali, Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President of Ali Bin Ali Group.
"The exhibition is a real celebration of the finest watches and jewellery pieces of unique quality and creative designs," he says.
The participating brands include both high jewellery and luxury watch makers and they have brought to Doha some of the finest creations.
Some of the brands under the group include Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Buccellati, Cartier, David Morris, Graff, Messika, Montblanc, Panerai, Ralph Lauren, Richard Mille, Van Cleef & Arpels, Verdi and Vertu. While some of them have set up standalone boutiques, a majority of them are part of the huge Ali Bin Ali pavilion.
"The brands are not only bringing exclusive pieces, but are also showcasing novelties at the show," says Nader Salameh, Marketing Manager, Luxury Division.
Most of the brands have brought the latest watches showcased at the recent Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genève (SIHH) to Doha.
The show was held for the first time in the new venue last year and the outcome was fine, says Salameh. "We are expecting a lot better outcome and traffic this year," he continues.
The show has been able to achieve a regional status now must aim to be in the international calendar for luxury jewellery and watches, he says.
Salameh says the company is planning a major expansion this year and the next with plans to launch new outlets in the Mall of Qatar and Doha Festival City.
The DJWE 2017 is organised by Qatar Tourism Authority and is hosted at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, located in the heart of West Bay. It runs until February 25.
