Lamborghini’s new Aventador S supercar was launched in the Middle East over the weekend.
The new Aventador features more power, new management systems, seven-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission and all-wheel steering.
The car’s 6.5-litre V12 engine has been further fine-tuned to boost its horsepower from 700 to 740, which helps it accelerate to 60 in 2.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 217 mph.
Lamborghini dealer Al Jaziri Motors and the Lamborghini Club UAE, Saudi & Qatar organised a spectacular parade from the Lamborghini showroom to the Nikki Beach Hotel Dubai, where the unveiling of the 740-hp supercar took place.
Motoring enthusiasts, customers and VIPs were invited to witness the unveiling of the new creation from Sant'Agata Bolognese in person for the very first time in the UAE.
Christian Mastro, Head of EMEA Region at Automobili Lamborghini, offered an in-depth review of the Aventador S’s latest innovations which include modified body components that have been redesigned to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency, as well as enhanced lateral control from the new four-wheel steering and an all-new exhaust system that increases its power and of course its eardrum bursting capabilities.
Al Jaziri Motors operates the UAE’s two Lamborghini dealerships in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, providing new and selected pre-owned cars as well as service, spare parts and Collezione Automobili Lamborghini.
