Numarine, the Turkish high performance motor yacht shipyard in Istanbul with a range from 55 m to 130 m, has announced the delivery of unit #2 of Numarine 105 HT to a Far-East owner in Hong Kong.
The sale of this vessel has been announced in September 2015 together with the sale of hull #1 that has already been delivered to a European client who wants to cruise the Mediterranean Sea.
The model is an exceptional sport yacht able to emphasize all the great Numarine attributes, like an innovative exterior design, an efficient and seaworthy hull, great exterior living spaces and spacious interiors, all coupled with a very robust but weight-efficient construction thanks to vacuum-infusion technology and state of the art noise, vibration and harshness suppression.
The custom luxurious finishes and hand selected high end materials used throughout the Numarine 105 HT offer an absolutely "first class" experience, while the impressive exterior areas provide plenty of gracious and refined alfresco space for entertaining guests.
105 HT is drawn by Numarine's designer Can Yalman, in charge of the concept, lines and interiors, while Umberto Tagliavini is the naval architect.
Key design attributes deliver the functionality, comfort and speed synonymous with the Numarine “mantra”, coupled with striking aesthetics and exceptional use of space for a motor-yacht that can do it all and in style.
The design consideration extends from the cleverly appointed flybridge - a feature that brings the "best of both worlds" to this extravagant hardtop model - to the abundance of outside lounging areas, the immense interior lounge and dining space, the lavish galley and cabin accommodation: all are bathed in natural light, further enhancing the plentiful feeling of space.
Accommodation comprises three fully en-suite guest cabins and the spacious full beam master cabin, lavishly appointed with a dressing table, sofa, a large bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and twin basins.
Yalman says: “Numarine 105HT is the foremost expression of the styling language that has started with the 78HT. The Hard Top design language has the gill shaped glass elements in the superstructure. Previously we have used this in the ceiling panels but in the 105HT this has been taken to the extreme and the complete side glass has this gilled, scaled structure emphasising the creature aesthetic and power within. Taking stylistic language of the transportation industry, mainly the supercars, we tried to emulate the power, speed and luxury feel of an ultimate movement machine to a super-yacht. The elegance of motion is what we tried to achieve in the design of the Numarine 105HT”.
Designed to navigate in any sea state and powered with twin 1,925 hp Caterpillar C32s, the 105HT is capable of a top speed 30 knots and cruises at around 26 knots. Numarine uses advanced composite construction, vacuum assisted infusion techniques, PVC foam, and EL vinylester resin for sturdy and lightweight hulls.
Tagliavini adds: “I have collaborated with the Numarine yard since its beginning and its first yacht. And just as with all Numarine designs, the primary aim when we designed the new 105 HT was to create a high performance hull shape with maximum possible comfort, even when sea conditions are not ideal. Thanks to Numarine’s technology – a given for the yard – we managed to achieve a displacement that gives us high speeds with a relatively smaller propulsion system: the two 1400kW CAT engines give the 105 HT a top speed of over 31 knots.
“The chined hull forward has a pronounced V, letting the bow pierce the waves relatively easily, giving the yacht a very comfortable ride. Numarine’s experience made my work easier, resulting in a high performance hull. CFD simulations were of great help in finalising the design, but the original lines were developed based on the yard’s experience with their previous yachts. To improve the hull, obviously with the help of the yard, I have always taken out the yachts for trails in rough conditions to better understand how to improve handleing in difficult conditions.”
The Numarine 105 HT joins a class of performance motor-yachts that sets the industry trends of today and will become an industry reference model for the future.
Antonio Caviglia, Numarine Sales & Marketing Director says: “This double achievement – in less than one year - with the delivery of two 105HTs confirms our ability to thoroughly engineer a new project and deliver it on time. The new 105HT highlights the following key values -- the Numarine design philosophy penned by Yalman and its continuous evolution; the light-weight yet strong foam core vacuum infusion construction technology that allows this 33 m yacht to reach 31 knots of top speed with just twin CAT C32 Acerts with 1925 hp each and permits us to provide an industry-leading 10-year structural warranty; the traditional Numarine seaworthiness derived from the great hulls penned by Tagliavini; the Numarine continuous pursuit of greater on-board comfort with noise, vibration and harshness reduction solutions developed together with Silent Line that make this yacht one of the quietest and most-vibration free in its category.
Price wise, Numarine continues to provide a great value with the new 105HT that at a very interesting $7.52 million base price presents a turn-key product with all the needed equipment already standard and a very short extras list, resulting in a very attractive price advantage when compared to the competition. And this of course includes the customisation of the interiors to suit the tastes of the Client, who can make all of his or her interior choices and layout customisations together with our Internal Architect or with the input of his personal architect working together with our team.”
