TAG Farnborough Airport, which bills itself as a “key gateway to London”, will be wooing more high flying businessmen from the Middle East to avail its world-class services that provide a seamless travel experience”.
TAG Farnborough says it is the UK’s only dedicated business aviation airport with bespoke services and state-of-the-art facilities, “continuing to set new global standards in this market”.
The airport is investing in further development of its award-winning infrastructure.
Plans include additional lounges for passengers and enhanced crew facilities, including a gymnasium.
The airport is also introducing a fast track entrance to the site, which is set to open for the exclusive use of passengers and crew in early 2015.
TAG Farnborough Airport already offers a wide range of amenities including concierge service, direct ramp access for customers wanting to drive up to waiting jets, a crew room with ‘snooze’ facilities, and The Aviator Hotel (also part of the TAG Group) located on-site.
Brandon O’Reilly, CEO TAG Farnborough Airport, says: “We continue to identify ways to better serve our customers. The ongoing investment underpins our commitment to enhance facilities and services, maintaining our position as Europe’s leading business aviation airport.”
TAG Farnborough Airport is a growing airport and is receiving more airliner sized business jets from the Middle East.
In the first half of 2014, the airport saw a 10 per cent increase (in comparison to the same period in 2013) in aircraft movements from operators flying Boeing Business Jets or Airbus Corporate Jets.
“We are further improving our facilities in order to cater for larger aircraft”, said O’Reilly. “TAG Farnborough Airport is based 40 miles from central London and is the UK’s only dedicated business aviation airport. Our tailored services and facilities, together with easy access to London, provide a seamless travel experience.”
TAG Farnborough Airport is Europe’s leading business aviation airport and a key gateway to London. The airport is biennial host to the world’s leading airshow, the Farnborough International Airshow.
Farnborough is the birthplace of British aviation and home of the country’s first powered flight in 1908.
TAG Farnborough will be at Stand 400 at MEBA.
