J P Morgan Private Bank has appointed Toby Lott as an Executive Director and Client Advisor on the Middle East private banking team, contributing toward business development in the region.
Lott will focus primarily on strengthening the firm’s wealth management operations in Saudi Arabia. He will be based in London and will report to Tara Smyth, Middle East Market Manager for J P Morgan Private Bank.
“We are pleased to welcome Toby to the Private Bank to further solidify our growth in one of the most important markets within Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region,” Smyth said. “Toby’s nearly 20 years’ experience solving complex global banking needs and delivering investment solutions for clients across the spectrum of Asset and Wealth Management exemplifies the type of advisor needed to further extend our brand of advice-led expertise to prominent families across the region.”
Prior to joining the firm’s Private Bank, Lott served as a relationship executive for several Middle East sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors for J P Morgan Asset Management since 2006, covering markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
“J P Morgan plays a critical advisory role for wealthy individuals, family offices, endowments, foundations and business conglomerates, and I am excited to join a thriving team of experts providing global perspectives for clients across the Mena region," Lott said.
