Yacht-maker Mangusta will take part in the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival (September 12 to 17) and Monaco Yacht Show (September 27 to 30).
The Cannes and Monaco boat shows will offer an opportunity to admire both a Maxi Open and a Long Range yacht, the perfect expression of what Mangusta is today, according to the brand.
The two yachts offer different ways of sailing the seas but are designed with the same cutting-edge technologgy and with the aim of providing an unparalleled lifestyle experience, it says.
At Cannes, Mangusta will showcase a Mangusta Oceano 42 (hull no 1), a 3-deck that has met with much public and media success, alongside a Maxi Open model from the Mangusta 110 series.
And at Monaco, the yacht-maker will display the latest 50-m Maxi Open delivered, the Mangusta 165E (hull number 12).
There will also be a model of the displacement line on show.
Mangusta's Maxi Opens are purpose-built for the Mediterranean, and allow owners to quickly sail from one place to the other in total comfort - in terms of quietness, stabilisation and vibration - and in large and well balanced indoor and outdoor spaces.
The 50-m in the Mangusta 165 E series is recognised as an icon of style and performance and represents unparalleled success.
Mangusta has used the same technology found on its high-performance yachts and the same concept of balancing open spaces with internal volumes for development of its Mangusta Oceano line - its Long Range yachts in metal.
These are ships have a range that rival those of explorer yachts, of up to 5,000 miles, and also offer a beach club that could double up as a toy area.
A third 43-m is currently in production, with other projects of up to 60 m in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, the Mangusta GranSport is the technical and stylistic syntheses of the other two lines. It is a fast displacement yacht with an impressive range, boasting the optimum performance at displacement speeds but also with the ability to achieve higher speeds typical of high-performance yachts, if needed.
The first flagship, 54 m long, will be in the water by the summer of 2018.
A 45-m version is also under construction.
