Audemars Piguet’s new Royal Oak Extra-Thin Jumbo in yellow gold is now available in stores across the Middle East.
The watch was unveiled at earlier this year at SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) to mark the 40th anniversary of the first precious metal Royal Oaks and was one of the most talked about launches at the Geneva event.
The 18-karat yellow gold Jumbo has a gold coloured “petite tapisserie” dial that evokes a vintage 1970s aesthetic, while offering the very latest in fit, finish, accuracy and reliability. The dial blends perfectly with the yellow gold case and bracelet, creating a monochromatic aesthetic of beauty and warmth, the Swiss brand says.
The Royal Oak Extra-Thin Jumbo pays tribute to the original Royal Oak model, embodying the distinctive features and extensive finishing techniques that defined the brand’s first first luxury sports watch.
The new yellow gold model is equipped with the renowned ultra-thin self-winding manufacture caliber 2121, first introduced half a century ago.
The Royal Oak Extra-Thin is also available in a slightly lighter version of the classic blue dial.
