Chronoswiss is presenting an extravagant version of its new icon Flying Regulator for Only Watch, the biennial charity auction of one-off timepieces created by leading watchmakers.
To be held on November 11 in Geneva under the patronage of Prince Albert of Monaco, the proceeds of the auction go towards funding research for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Only Watch has become a world-renowned charity event, of which the success is based on the generosity, altruism and willingness expressed by organisers, partners and watch brands. All participating brands offer their watches, partners offer their services, logistical or organisational supports
The Swiss watch brand’s one-off creation for the auction is called the Flying Regulator Red Passion.
The stainless steel model with its ultra-hard DLC coating is equipped with a spectacular guilloche dial in flaming red, against which the hands and numerals stand out in bright coral red.
This special colour combination of different shades of red was inspired by the eternal power of love and passion which is key to almost everything in our lives. These emotions are our most important driving forces and therefore, the red colours seem to be predestined for a timepiece aiming to support such a heartfelt charity as the Only Watch, which also involves a lot of passion and love.
Externally, the Flying Regulator Red Passion shines with its classic DLC coated case, as well as with its elaborate dial construction on several levels, which lends the timepiece a stunning 3-D effect.
The powerful character of this timepiece is complemented by a very special strap, perfectly matching the colours of the dial and case. Hand-crafted in elegant alligator leather it completes the Flying Regulator’s extravagant look. Apart from the box accompanying this passionate wristwatch, it also comes with a special travel case. It was completely lined with bright red leather in order to match the colour theme.
