Stephen Friedrich has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Embraer Executive Jets.
Reporting to Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, Friedrich is responsible for the direct management of the global sales organisation for new and pre-flown aircraft as well as the oversight of relationships with customers and industry collaborators.
“Stephen brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, finance, customer support and services, and aftermarket programs from over 30 years in the leasing and aerospace sectors,” said Amalfitano. “With our strategic shift to focus on value, his dynamic leadership will strengthen our global sales team and challenge us to create more comprehensive solutions for our customers to outperform.”
Previously serving as Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, Friedrich was responsible for leading a global sales team and the marketing activities for business aviation as well as forecasting and pricing of services. Since joining Rolls-Royce in 2001, he also served in the aviation finance group. Prior to Rolls-Royce, Friedrich held leadership roles in banking and aviation finance.

Headquartered in Brazil with businesses in commercial and executive aviation, defence and security, Embraer entered the business aviation market in 2000 with the Legacy jet, which led to the launch of Embraer Executive Jets in 2005. Its business jet portfolio consists of the entry-level Phenom 100 and the light Phenom 300 jet, the midsize Legacy 500 midsize and mid-light Legacy 450, the large Legacy 650E, and the ultra-large Lineage 1000E.
Embraer Executive Jets’ global fleet exceeds 1,100 aircraft, which are in operation in more than 70 countries and are supported by a global customer support and services network of over 70 owned and authorized service centres, complemented by a 24/7 contact centre at its headquarters in Brazil.
