London Biggin Hill Airport is to welcome Piaggio Aerospace’s Avanti EVO for the first time, during a series of showcase events by ConnectJets commencing September 11.
Gabriella Somerville, CEO of ConnectJets, says: “As the exclusive sales agent for the EVO in the UK, Channel Islands, Ireland and Isle of Man, we are delighted to be exhibiting at London Biggin Hill. The airport is perfectly placed for us to show the aircraft’s style and performance and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone experience first-hand its distinctive features.”
Robert Walters, business development director London Biggin Hill Airport says: “The Avanti EVO is the world’s fastest twin turboprop and given our ease of access to the capital, London Biggin Hill is the perfect location for ConnectJets to host this special event to the largest number of potential buyers and charter brokers. We are looking forward to welcoming Gabriella and her team and seeing the aircraft in action.”
The Avanti EVO will be on display at London Biggin Hill during BACA’s Air Charter Expo 2017 on September 12 and at the special showcase event connecting travel businesses and the aircraft on September 13.
London Biggin Hill Airport is located 12 miles from central London and offers award-winning VIP handling, a choice of FBOs, extensive hangarage, support and maintenance services for all ranges of business jets.
A designated UK Port of Entry, Biggin Hill is free of runway slot constraints. An exclusive six-minute helicopter transfer service to and from the heart of London makes it the fastest transfer of any London airport.
Biggin Hill is the only dedicated business aviation airport within the capital and is already home to over 65 commercial and aviation activities.
