Dutch luxury yacht builder Amels has appointed Rutger Dolk as Sales Manager, reflecting a steady rise in enquiries for the Amels and Damen yachting portfolio, which includes the Amels Limited Editions range, the Damen Yacht Support range and the Damen SeaXplorer range of luxury expedition yachts.
"Together with Rob Luijendijk, I'm delighted to welcome Rutger to the team," Amels Commercial Director Rose Damen says. "He will play a key role in supporting our partners and the brokerage community, which is becoming larger, more diverse and more global every year thanks to the success of the Limited Editions range as well as our leadership in emerging markets like support vessels and high-end expedition yachting."
Dolk joins Amels after six years with the sales team at Damen Shipyards, which has owned Amels since 1991 and is one of the world's largest shipbuilding groups with more than 6,000 vessels delivered from 33 yards around the world.
“The yachting market shares the very strong client focus that is a key part of the Damen approach in all its maritime markets,” Dolk comments. “It’s part of what makes Amels and Damen such a strong competitor in yachting, which is a very exciting market. So I’m looking forward to supporting our yachting clients and partners together with the whole team.”
