Carl F. Bucherer’s highly successful Manero Peripheral family, first launched in 2016, has a new addition with the 43-mm rose gold watch.
The new watch complements the collection’s existing 40.6 mm models. The new model is designed to appeal to men who want to invest in quality while conveying poise and elegance, says the Swiss watchmaker.
While the case’s classic round form has essentially remained the same, its elegance is now further accentuated by the interplay of sharp edges and soft curves, and by a combination of polished and matte surfaces.
Even with its larger diameter, the Manero Peripheral has retained its exquisite proportions, something that is also true of the piece’s painstakingly crafted dial. The appliquéd wedge-shaped indices have grown proportionately to the case, as has the minute hand that so accurately rotates around the chapter ring.
As with the current collection, the new Manero Peripheral works with the CFB A2050 caliber, a movement based on the CFB A2000 and designed and created completely in-house. Certified as a chronometer, the movement features a central hour and minute display, a small-seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, and a date display at 3 o’clock. This automatic movement draws its power from a bidirectional automatic winding system with a peripheral rotor – a Carl F. Bucherer specialty. Its Geneva stripe decor serves to accentuate the elegance of the new Manero Peripheral; its 55-hour power reserve is a testament to the reliability of the timepiece.
New Colour Combination
The new Manero Peripheral in rose gold comes with a light brown alligator-leather strap, the colour of which beautifully complements the warm tone of the watch case.
Other members of the Manero Peripheral family feature 40.6-mm cases in either rose gold or stainless steel. These models are available with black or silver dials and with alligator-leather or stainless steel straps.
