Furne One Amato, the critically-acclaimed UAE couturier, showcased his latest Amato Luxe Collection at the The Bride Show Abu Dhabi.
The collection is a mix of bright pastel colours, inspired from ballerinas and millennials.
“I love different kinds of beauty and this collection represents the beauty of love and happiness,” says Amato, the first UAE-based global designer to dress A-list Hollywood stars.
Every piece and each colour has its own personality, its own identity, and this is exactly what Amato wants to capture - the beauty of individuality.
Amato, the Creative Director of Amato Couture and Amato Luxe, said: “The new collection was inspired by modern lady, a sense of fearlessness is reflected in the collection with bold, statement pieces that command attention."
The collection showcases linear elements, wide skirts, and woven details pulled from ballet technique: long lines, dynamic flexibility, and powerful movement. The collection mainly stays within a pastel colour palette.
“This new collection also reflects my ideology to promote a sense of individuality in fashion. I want to empower women to confidently wear a dress that capture their self-identity. We need to celebrate the femininity of all the women and this is my ultimate goal. I want all Amato women to feel that way when they wear an Amato dress.”
Bride Abu Dhabi is Middle East’s leading wedding and lifestyle event, recently held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
Launched in 2002 UAE, Amato, which means ‘beloved’ in Italian, is the brainchild of the much-awarded creative designer Furne One, who partnered with textile expert Rashid Ali, to build this avant-garde label.
